The Core Sport Story
Diane Fidler, MPT, opened Core Fitness and Physical Therapy in 2005. After nearly 20 years as a clinic owner and treating therapist, she partnered with Bobby Waddell, DPT, to open the Core Sport location. Core Sport is a sports performance facility, specializing in sports rehab. It’s a place where Diane’s roots in individualized, one-on-one physical therapy meet Bobby’s passion for bridging the gap between injury and peak performance for athletes. In addition to physical therapy services, the 5000 square foot performance facility provides team, small group, and personal training to athletes of all ages and sports.

Diane opened Core Fitness and Physical Therapy in Evergreen Park, IL in 2005. She has lectured nationally about the benefits of utilizing the Pilates Method as part of the rehabilitation process. Diane has combined her experiences treating PT patients using the Pilates Method with breath work and activation techniques to create a system of wellness and rehabilitation that benefits all bodies, injuries, and ailments. Diane received her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from St. Mary's College in Los Angeles, and is a former collegiate athlete, marathon runner, and triathlete

Bobby is a physical therapist with a passion for sports rehab. He grew up on the South Side of Chicago, where he was active in playing sports. He got into physical therapy after suffering his own injuries throughout college. He understands the importance of getting athletes back on the field playing the game they love. He especially enjoys working in the community where he grew up while helping athletes reach their full potential after suffering injuries. Bobby became co-owner of Core Sport & Physical Therapy in 2024.

Office Manager
Erin is a lifelong Beverly resident and taught at local schools for 17 years. Drawing on her years of experience in education, Erin uses her communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to help streamline office procedures and support the clinical team. She also gained valuable experience working part-time at the front desk at Core Fitness and Physical Therapy. She's dedicated to creating a positive environment for both staff and patients. She focuses on enhancing the overall patient experience, ensuring that each individual receives compassionate, timely care from the moment they step into the office.

Danny Misheck

Danny graduated from Benedictine University with a Bachelor's in Exercise and Sports Studies. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach with a background in personal and team training for high school and college level athletes. Danny trains and coaches with focus on form, functionality, intent, and consistency. He believes optimal technique promotes safety and longevity, which prevents injuries and setbacks.

Alice Lee

Alice grew up in Chicago. She was a Track & Field thrower (shot put, discus, hammer) at Knox College, where she continued to coach the sport at a collegiate level. She graduated from Bradley University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023. Throughout her clinical rotations, Alice had the opportunity to work with elite level athletes, including collegiate football players training for the NFL combine. Alice is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. Alice specializes in sports physical therapy, with a strong affinity towards barbell athletes. She has extensive experience in dry needling, soft tissue mobilization, and joint manipulation. In addition, Alice incorporates her experience in strength sports to design programs that reinforce stability, improve performance, and prevent future injuries individualized for each athlete. She also focuses on educating patients in proper technique, empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed for long-term success. Alice is also an experienced Powerlifter who competed nationally in the USAPL.

CJ grew up in Downers Grove, where he developed a passion for sports and performance, playing football and baseball in school. After sustaining an injury, he developed a passion for physical therapy. This passion led him to Bradley University to pursue his doctorate in physical therapy. During this time, he had the opportunity to work with athletes of all levels, including collegiate and professional. CJ specializes in sports rehab with a focus on overhead athletes, such as baseball players, leveraging his expertise to guide clients of all athletic levels back to peak performance. Known for his empathetic and motivating approach, CJ is committed to helping each client reach their full potential.

Allie Boutsikakis

Allie is a physical therapist who graduated from University of Illinois Chicago and has a passion for treating young athletes. Allie grew up on the north side of Chicago, where she trained in competitve dance from high school through college at Loyola University Chicago, and still dances professionally to this day. Allie has a passion for treating dance and cheer injuries and understands the importance of keeping these athletes healthy so they can have long careers in their sport into high school, college and after college. Allie is excited to help athletes get back to the field, court, cheer mat or dance floor

Declan has been actively involved in coaching since 2022, serving as a coach for basketball and baseball at Evergreen Park High School. In june 2022, he began training athletes at Core Sport, where he focuses on improving athletic performance through personalized strength and conditioning programs. Declan was an active athlete throughout his high school years, participating in golf, basketball, baseball at Evergreen Park High School. He went on to play baseball at Saint Xavier University from 2020 to 2024, honing his skills and understanding of sport performance. Declan graduated from SXU in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Fitness Administration. He also holds a Professor Educator License in Physical Education from Trinity Christian College. He is passionate about helping athletes of all ages achieve their fitness and athletic goals. His approach to training is rooted in a strong belief that fitness is essential for both physical and mental well-being, and he is dedicated to fostering an environment of growth, discipline, and success for his athletes.

Nick graduated from Saint Xavier University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2022, where he also played baseball and obtained a Master’s in Healthcare Administration. Nick loves working with all athletes, no matter the sport or the age of the athlete. He loves being able to work with individual athletes that have different needs from one another and helping them grow, and/or return to their sport. Nick is grateful to have the opportunity to work with both the rehabilitation side of athletes, as well as the sports performance side. Additionally, Nick has his certification from the Titleist Performance Institute to screen, assess, and correct swing flaws for golfers.
